Sturdy design: waterproof to 3 m and shockproof to 0.8 m, this camera is strong enough to withstand active use at home, the beach and beyond.

Fun filters: in-camera filters make it simple to add a unique touch to photos. Filters include Fisheye and Selective Color, which lets someone add a splash of color to a monochrome version of their photo.
NIKKOR 3x optical zoom lens (29–87mm): ideal for close-ups of everyday curiosities, portraits of friends and family group photos, this precise lens captures sharp shots with ease.
Clear 6.7 cm (2.7-in) 230k-dot LCD screen: this high-resolution screen provides a clear view for easy shooting. It’s big enough to show friends or family the results.
10 MP: the 10-megapixel resolution captures detailed images that stay sharp even when significantly enlarged.
Anti-blur: clear images are easy thanks to automatic technology that counters image blur. e-VR (vibration reduction) counters the effects of camera shake for great photos. Motion detection compensates for camera and subject movement to deliver sharp shots of even fast-moving subjects.
Easy to handle: the symmetric body design makes the camera easy to hold and helps prevent someone snapping a photo that looks great except for the finger in front of the lens.
One button–one function: large one-touch buttons make it easy to take a photo or begin filming a movie.
Crisp 720p video recording: record life in motion at the touch of a button. Movie clips look just as good when played on the camera’s LCD screen as they do on a TV or computer screen.
Built-in flash: an automatic flash helps capture clear photos when the light is low. The flash is carefully positioned so there’s no risk of accidentally covering it up.
AA-size batteries: the camera is powered by two AA-size batteries, which are readily available across the world.
Compatible with SD cards (not supplied): high-capacity SD cards can store everything that could possibly be captured in a day and more. Simply insert the card into the camera’s SD card slot to store thousands of photos or hours of movies.
Automatic power-off: the camera powers off after three minutes of inactivity in order to conserve battery power.
